School Reporting

School Reporting: Pūrongo ā-kura

Throughout the year you will have a number of opportunities to talk with your child’s teacher about their learning. This can occur informally before and after school or via an organised meeting time.

There are two formal reports created for each child over a year; Initial Report in Term One following the Interviews and End of Year Report in Term Four to show your child’s progress.

Year 1 students receive their first report mid-year.

You will be able to see your child’s progress and learning throughout the year via their Seesaw account. This is set up at the start of the year between home and school.

School interviews: Ngā Uiuitanga

All meetings between parents and teachers are booked through the School Interview site with the code being communicated via the newsletter, App and website.

These meetings are considered ‘compulsory’ and important as it gives teachers, parents and students a wonderful opportunity to work together and provide invaluable information and planning time to support your child in their ongoing learning. If you are unable to attend then making a booking outside these times is expected.

These interviews are vital as they are the vehicle to be a connection between home and school to drive learner potential.
