School Reporting: Pūrongo ā-kura

Throughout the year you will have a number of opportunities to talk with your child’s teacher about their learning.

School interviews: Ngā Uiuitanga

All meetings between parents and teachers are booked through the School Interview site with the code being communicated through the newsletter, App and website. These meetings are considered compulsory as it gives teachers, parents and students a wonderful opportunity to work together and provide invaluable information and planning time to support your child in their ongoing learning. If you are unable to attend then making a booking outside these times is expected.

These interviews are compulsory as they are the vehicle to drive progress and achievement between home and school.

Meet the Teacher: Hui whānau - Term One

Day one of school we encourage our parents and caregivers to come early to school, grab a coffee from the 'Coffee Cart' and explore the new classroom, talk to the teacher and then join us for our first Flag Ceremony of the year.

The following evening is held in Week One or Two of the first term. We invite all whanau to their child’s room for a run through of the programme, the opportunities and the organisation for the year. This is the one of the most important opportunities to get the feel of the Hub and classroom and meet the teacher.

Open Days: Hui whānau - Term Two / Three

The following events are held in Week 8 of Term Two and Three when the timetable permits. Term Two will be an Open Day and Term Three in 2020 an Open Evening. These are designed so parents and caregivers can join us at school, share kai with us, have their children show their learning and progress, take a tour of the classrooms and talk to the teacher on an informal and open ended way.

Parent/Teacher/Interview - Term Two
